Description:
The object of this piece is to bring art and agriculture closer together. It is a hybrid of sculpture and chocken coop. The construction is strongly influenced by the „Stabbur“ - old high-rise storage facilities found on many Norwegian farms. The gap between ground and wood allows for very good air circulation and ensures that the wood won´t get waterlogged. The construction focuses on both functional and aesthetic aspects. The two base stones were worked on in Norway. before being transported to Germany. Then followed the wooden structure and the roof planted with goldenrods.
