A long time city planning was all about cars. We build cities for cars with big streets and a lot of space for parking. The climate crisis and the corona pandemic has shown that the places where we live have to become more liveable, greener and more flexible. We designed 10 modules with different requirements that have the size of a standard parking lot. They will function as an extension of the side walks and give the neighbourhood more space for the people who live there. A resilient city must be able to react to crises. To counteract climate change cars have to leave the cities and give back the space to the people. Aditionally greenery and water in the modules can cool down the neighbourhood and refresh the people.
