Title:
Drop in the ocean, II

Author:
ewazpabianic

Description:
Although my town, Pabianice, developed thanks to the textile industry, and my grandparents spent most of their lives in textile factories, not much of this heritage has survived to this day. Factories have disappeared, some have been demolished, and natural yarn has become very expensive Regardless of everything, inspired by the history of my grandparents, I always wanted to create a tapestry. And I wasn't looking for excuses, just a way. So I used material that is everywhere, often free, and generally easily available. I made my artwork only of plastic. This is how I imagine the beauty of the ocean. But due to environmental pollution, it is worth considering whether my vision is beautiful or terrifying. The title of the work comes from a quote by an unknown author: "Your thoughts is like a drop in the ocean, but remember that the ocean is made of drops."
