Title:
3 Orbs
3 Orbs
Author:
Todd Monaghan
Todd Monaghan
Description:
This work is inspired by and dedicated to German artist Anselm Kiefer whom Monaghan's work has been compared to. One of Monaghan's New York dealer's asked him to create a series of paintings dedicated and inspired by Kiefer. This piece and another entitled "Annuit Coeptis" are the result of this work. The view is of a path, perhaps the Everglades, that leads to infinity and beyond and celebrates all things green. The piece gets it's texture from repurposed, recycled egg shells.
