24" x 36" Acrylic Yarn, Paper & Plastic Garbage This piece was hand woven on a homemade loom using found and thrifted yarn along with garbage. As an object it is environmentally clean, and it is inspired by sediment layers and the tactile appeal of rocks and minerals. Textiles are an incredibly harmful industry and this piece is an attempt to juxtapose their impact with the same material, and honor the great beauty and appeal of nature.
