Award 2021

Welcome to the Social Art Award 2021 – Online Gallery!

We are grateful for the many inspiring contributions from artists around the world. The selected works reflect a broad spectrum of contemporary social art practices and explore new relationships between humans, nature, and technology. They address themes such as ecological regeneration, climate justice, sustainable futures, social resilience, and more-than-human perspectives.

Below you will find the submissions from the Social Art Award 2021 – New Greening edition that passed the initial jury round. The Online Gallery offers public visibility to these works and encourages dialogue around their ideas and approaches; it does not replace the final jury decision.

Thank you to all artists for sharing your visionary and committed work. We invite you to explore the gallery and engage with the perspectives shaping New Greening.

Title:
Equal Love

Description:
As an artist that usually portrays whimsical and fantasy like environments in his works, I try to allow people to reconnect with their inner child. Children think differently from how we adults do. If you would notice, kids would tend to care for anything it sees or interacts with as long as it doesn't scare nor hurt them in any way. Children have the capacity to perceive goodness towards things that are around them. My works would like to carry that aspect of life, to allow us to return to that state wherein we care more with our surroundings. This specific artwork, EQUAL LOVE, brings you to a world wherein human beings have the capacity to express love in a manner where there are no superiors or inferiors because of how they embodied their inner children in ways of perceptions towards what's around them.
