Welcome to the Social Art Award 2021 – Online Gallery!
We are grateful for the many inspiring contributions from artists around the world. The selected works reflect a broad spectrum of contemporary social art practices and explore new relationships between humans, nature, and technology. They address themes such as ecological regeneration, climate justice, sustainable futures, social resilience, and more-than-human perspectives.
Below you will find the submissions from the Social Art Award 2021 – New Greening edition that passed the initial jury round. The Online Gallery offers public visibility to these works and encourages dialogue around their ideas and approaches; it does not replace the final jury decision.

TITLE: YOURS OWN PILLOW! MEDIUM: PILLOW (COTTON STUFFED) AND SPEAKER SIZE: VARIABLE (ACC. TO PILLOW) YEAR: 2020 Dear All We all meet every night at Bedtime, right! As I am one of the most comforting, you all get relaxed just by laying heads on me. But do you know that I am not the same for every one of you? Some of you stuff me with cotton, synthetic fiber, latex, and down feather. Do you know what hurts me the most that some of you just buy down feather stuffed pillow by giving such a high price just for your comfort and greed only. But have you ever think about the pain of geese and duck...? Listen to me and hear their screams, and get an experience of their pain. you all need to show generosity toward animals and birds, and let them live their lives. I will be obliged if I would be able to change your mindset than only the life of geese and duck will be saved. Thank you!
