Description:
Inspired by the surroundings of the studio I worked at during my recent residency in Mexico, ‘Jungle’ (oil on canvas, 90x100cm) captures the abundant diversity of nature untamed. Expressive painting techniques have been used to convey the interconnectedness of many species cohabitation harmoniously in the jungle. Multiple layers and the night sky create depth, and an immersive experience for the viewer.
