Welcome to the Social Art Award 2025 – Online Gallery!
We are grateful for the many powerful contributions from artists across the globe. The selected works reflect the diversity of contemporary social art practices and address urgent issues such as climate and water crises, social and economic inequality, migration, conflict, discrimination, and the protection of human and more-than-human life.
Below you will find the submissions from the edition of 2024/2025 that passed the initial jury round. The Online Gallery offers public visibility to these works and supports dialogue around their themes; it does not replace the final jury decision.
Thank you to all artists for sharing your inspiring and committed work. We invite you to explore the gallery and engage with the perspectives shaping the Social Art Award 2025.

My method of merging performance, photography, video, textiles seeks to explore the language of eco poetics and poetic realism. Pursuing a a course of experimentation to create an allegorical art. The layering of mediums acting as metaphors for our multi layered eco systems. There is rawness in nature that draws out the sense of fear that I feel in the uncertainty of the worlds political sphere. By drawing on this I explore how it balances my own perceptiveness of the world around in which I exist. In the imagery produced in my video installations I have aimed to configure a visual language that transcends a universality as well as poetic accomplices in the narrative of video. Merging other external elements such as textiles, reflective material’s and inserting craft work such as print, my goal was to explore the concept of multilayering and merging. This in turn as a metaphor for how the beauty of nature is overlaid. I think that the processes I have been using have given me an authentic language that merges between the worlds of poetics, symbolism and reflection.
