We are grateful for the many powerful contributions from artists across the globe. The selected works reflect the diversity of contemporary social art practices and address urgent issues such as climate and water crises, social and economic inequality, migration, conflict, discrimination, and the protection of human and more-than-human life.
Below you will find the submissions from the edition of 2024/2025 that passed the initial jury round. The Online Gallery offers public visibility to these works and supports dialogue around their themes; it does not replace the final jury decision.

Blue Ocean 1 is an acrylic painting on paper and it is part research and exploration of the truly fascinating natural elements. How everything seems to be inextricably intertwined and indivisible, the endless transformations, shapes and reflections they assume. The Sea is a natural element which has shaped the history of our world and has brought life to this Earth. As human beings our primarly duty is to protect the most precious thing on this planet. Our fragile ecosystem is fighting for its own existence, battling against rising sea water temperatures and pollution.
