The selected works reflect the diversity of contemporary social art practices and address urgent issues such as climate and water crises, social and economic inequality, migration, conflict, discrimination, and the protection of human and more-than-human life.

Technological development and environmental protection are often seen as being in opposition, but the reality is more complex. Indeed, industrial technology and dependence on fossil fuels have contributed significantly to global warming, which is leading to melting glaciers and rising sea levels. This phenomenon has serious consequences, such as coastal flooding, habitat loss and extreme weather events.
