We are thrilled to announce that the Social Art Award 2025 – Planetary Healing: Blue Tribes for Ocean Health will be officially launched during the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP30) in Belém, Brazil, on 17 November 2025.
💙 Celebrating creativity, collaboration, and care
The publication presents the Top 100 international entries from this year’s award, alongside essays, interviews, and reflections from artists, curators, and thought leaders around the world. It captures the diversity and urgency of artistic visions addressing the interconnected challenges of ocean health, social transformation, and collective regeneration.
From the Award Ceremony to the Blue Futures Symposia and Blue School Dialogues, the Social Art Award has once again proven to be a dynamic platform for socially engaged art — one that connects creativity with systemic change and collective healing.
This year’s theme, Planetary Healing: Blue Tribes for Ocean Health, highlights how art can serve as a bridge between science, policy, and society — encouraging empathy, dialogue, and shared responsibility for our blue planet.
We invite you to an intergenerational and international launch at COP30!
The book launch and dialogue will take place as part of the COP30 program, co-organized by the Institute for Art and Innovation (IFAI) together with the Alliance for Youth-Led Futures (AYLF) including partnerships on site with the WHO Youth Council, and Youth4Planet.
The online event will feature award-winning artists, youth peacebuilders, and jurors discussing how creativity can foster planetary healing, social cohesion, and mental well-being. It also connects with the launch of the Youth Social Art Award – Peace & Health for All, inviting young creators (ages 13–30) to contribute their artistic visions for healthier and more peaceful societies.
