We are grateful for the many inspiring contributions from artists around the world. The selected works reflect a broad spectrum of contemporary social art practices and explore new relationships between humans, nature, and technology. They address themes such as ecological regeneration, climate justice, sustainable futures, social resilience, and more-than-human perspectives.
Below you will find the submissions from the Social Art Award 2021 – New Greening edition that passed the initial jury round. The Online Gallery offers public visibility to these works and encourages dialogue around their ideas and approaches; it does not replace the final jury decision.

Idea The new global world government has decided that all people on the planet must be upgraded to a higher human being: ”Human 2.0”. This is due to lack of empathy and too much fear of differences and unwillingness to learn from our history. Otherwise, all of humanity and the survival of the planet will soon be endangered. All people are assigned a global contact helper, ”1. Human Contact Enabler ”with accessories that must be worn constantly until the upgrade is considered complete. ”1. Human Contact Enabler ”is an integration of all different electrical outlets and contacts in the world and which can be used to contact anyone at any time. “2.Open Mind and Open Heart” are accessories for 1. Human Contact Enabler. “Open Mind” helps us to understand what opinions, thoughts and beliefs other people have without judging. Having an “Open Mind” makes it easier to receive other people’s thoughts and share your own. It becomes easier to accept that we are different but still equal. “Open Heart” makes it easier for us to expose our emotions and to increase our empathy. Balance is achieved by both giving and receiving love. Manual First, you connect yourself - your brain and your heart, to calibrate all the senses before you meet others. When brain and heart are connected, you’ll know when another human or living being needs a helping hand, needs someone to listen, be comforted or just be seen. Protecting the planet, where we live, becomes a matter of course. Then you’ll also know, that what you do or don’t do to anyone else, you do indirectly to yourself and the rest of humanity. Human Contact Enabler records all contacts and is synchronized with all the world’s satellites. To speed up the upgrade to human 2.0, the participant receives a medal “3. Human Contact Award System ”when they have succeeded in achieving x number of contacts of these categories: - X number of countries / cultures - Different physical and mental disabilities - Gender identities and orientations - Life stories sadness and joy - Thoughts, opinions, beliefs - Number of people helped, comforted or supported - Cared for the planet’s environment, water and air When the participant receives a medal, it is attached to “1.
