Welcome to the Social Art Award 2021 – Online Gallery!
We are grateful for the many inspiring contributions from artists around the world. The selected works reflect a broad spectrum of contemporary social art practices and explore new relationships between humans, nature, and technology. They address themes such as ecological regeneration, climate justice, sustainable futures, social resilience, and more-than-human perspectives.
Below you will find the submissions from the Social Art Award 2021 – New Greening edition that passed the initial jury round. The Online Gallery offers public visibility to these works and encourages dialogue around their ideas and approaches; it does not replace the final jury decision.

Solarevolution Bike+Solar Trailer

The Solarevolution Bike is a long tail electro powered cargo bike with a solar cell covered 3 wheel trailer-a solar autonomous vehicle. Loading area: 225 x 82 cm and 140cm high gives space for one person to sit and to sleep. Solar cell surface:10m2 loading the batteries. Side walls can be folded up, tent sheets can be fixed. Possible connection to the public power grid. Intended uses: in 3rd world villages without power supply, public performances with music+video projections, a trip from Berlin to Athens.
