We are grateful for the many inspiring contributions from artists around the world. The selected works reflect a broad spectrum of contemporary social art practices and explore new relationships between humans, nature, and technology. They address themes such as ecological regeneration, climate justice, sustainable futures, social resilience, and more-than-human perspectives.

Soon we don't need rugs to keep our living environments warm. Through the ongoing climate crisis, humans' ecological footprint is going to decrease naturally, thanks to its own activities. The Melting Rug is demonstrating the different stadiums of the melting Arctic ice cap in a form of a disappearing space, based on NSIDC reports.
