Shortlisted artists (TOP 10) will be announced by mid-June.
-
Winners of the Social Art Award 2025 will be revealed at our Online Award Ceremony on July 2, 2025.
We invite you to stay connected as we celebrate the power of Social Art to drive dialogue, awareness, and collective transformation.

As I reflect on the plight of our oceans, I'm reminded of a fisherman's haunting realization: The fisherman sets sail on a Voyage off Okrika high sea. Mounts his nets and realises that The life underwater? extinct The fishes that roar? extinct The oysters that sway their shells? extinct The periwinkles and mudskippers that once flooded the mangroves? extinct The aesthetically pleasing sea creatures that aroused praises and flattery to genuflect his ego? all extinct. All that's trapped to his net? Survivors (the tilapias and crustaceans) accompanied by an erie silent sea, devoid of the effervescent bubbly aquatic habitats. The main culprit? Climate change, proudly sponsored by harzardous industrial Interference. We seek justice for the vibrant lives that once thrived beneath our waterways. By sharing this narrative, I hope to inspire a sense of justice and accountability for the vibrant lives that once thrived beneath our waterways. Together, we can work towards a future where human activities and ocean health coexist in harmony.
