Welcome to the Social Art Award 2021 – Online Gallery!
We are grateful for the many inspiring contributions from artists around the world. The selected works reflect a broad spectrum of contemporary social art practices and explore new relationships between humans, nature, and technology. They address themes such as ecological regeneration, climate justice, sustainable futures, social resilience, and more-than-human perspectives.
Below you will find the submissions from the Social Art Award 2021 – New Greening edition that passed the initial jury round. The Online Gallery offers public visibility to these works and encourages dialogue around their ideas and approaches; it does not replace the final jury decision.

Animals never left paradise! But we humans are destroying this paradise bit by bit. Urang Utan and Armur Leopard, two impressive animals, symbolize all endangered species. Through the clearing and burning of tropical rainforest, through pollution with plastic waste and overfishing of the world's oceans, through the use of pesticides in agriculture, etc... living space is systematically minimized and destroyed and climate change is promoted. Have Adam and Eve forgotten that they are part of the whole? Many committed people work on solutions, research or get involved in organizations that deal with the continued existence of our planet in a variety of ways. There is a rethinking in people's minds.
